Headlights on Dark Roads

this year’s set of presents trumps all of the other gifts I’ve ever gotten my friends.. ever! awesome friends deserve awesome presents.

it’s not about the amount of stress I experienced while I looked for the gifts. it’s not even about the all money I’ve spent to buy them. it’s more about me seeing something so perfect for one person, that the amount of money I’ll have to spend to get it doesn’t even process in my head; what does is remembering all the fond memories, all the perfect inside jokes, and all the encompassing reasons that makes that something so perfect for that one person.

gahd. I’m getting so mushy about shopping, but whatever. I really think my emotions are justified. I’m just not sure by what exactly. probably the Yuletide season’s getting to me, or maybe it’s just me realizing that this maybe the last Christmas I get to spend with my classmates as a whole. sad, yes. but I guess it’s a fact I should start getting used to.
